Over the course of the complete water cycle, various measurement, control, treatment and usage processes are carried out on the resource being exploited. Many of these processes are characterised by their basic electricity consumption.
There is a need for an alternative source of energy to guarantee the supply of electricity at specific locations that is capable of overcoming the problems of conventional solutions like connection to the grid (high installation costs), photovoltaic solar panels (vandalism and theft) and accumulators (major maintenance work).
In order to address this need, Aqualogy has developed pico-turbine equipment especially designed to meet the basic energy requirements identified in the various installations and processes linked to the water cycle, using the pico-turbine system (APT Systems).
It is a complete, compact and versatile solution with minimum implementation costs and low maintenance. The energy produced is 100% clean and renewable.
