AQUALOGY IS NOW WORKING TO IMPROVE ITS IBEACH APP.
28 February 2012
iBeach, the free app designed by Aqualogy that provides useful information on the state of the beaches, will have new features this summer.
A working group is meeting in EsadeCreapolis to design new functions and extend the information offered by the application, which has already seen over 4,000 downloads. Flag colour, water quality, the state of the sea, water and air temperature or the presence of jellyfish are just some of the data that iBeach currently offers. However, in addition, the application also provides information on services such as the Red Cross, WCs, Bicing stations, bus and metro and even provides access to live images of the beaches.
iBeach, available in Catalan, Spanish and English, can be downloaded for free at the Apple iPhone store and the Android Market, and currently runs in the cities of Barcelona, Sitges, Torremolinos, Benicarló, Tarragona and Alicante.
