SUEZ Water Spain applies its iDroloc solution in Tychy (Poland)
01 February 2016
SUEZ Water Spain has performed leak detection and location, using the iDroloc system, in the drinking water distribution network of the city of Tychy (Poland).
The work — undertaken at the request of the company RPWiK Tychy SA — was carried out in this location due to the high quantity of incidents detected in the area. Approximately 30% of the network of this territory, with a length of 5,839 metres, has been replaced.
iDroloc is a leak detection system using helium without interrupting the provision of the water service. It allows water leaks to be located both in long-distance pipelines with a large diameter and in small distribution pipes and connections within the city centre.
