SUEZ Water Spain organises IoT lab to promote innovative smart agriculture solutions
30 December 2015
SUEZ Water Spain is organising an IoT lab on 27, 28 and 29 January to promote innovative smart agriculture solutions.
The meeting, called the Smart Agriculture IoT Lab, is designed as a platform for ideas and creation in a dynamic environment. It will bring together designers, strategists and developers from smart technology start-ups to develop and prototype Internet-connected products or services that solve real agriculture challenges.
The Smart Agriculture IoT Lab is part of SUEZ’s strategic commitment to improving efficiency in agriculture through innovation. The sector currently faces numerous transformations, such as a fast-growing population, negative impacts of climate change and fragility of natural resources. Smart agriculture aims to make significant advances to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the sector.
The IoT lab is organised in collaboration with Claro Partners and will be held in the CREA facility, at SUEZ Water Spain’s headquarters in Barcelona.
The deadline for applications to take part in the ideas lab is 20 January. Participant companies will have an opportunity to present their solutions and selected teams will collaborate on further developing them with SUEZ.
