INFORMATION DAYS ON THE MASTER’S DEGREE IN WATER MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY

Aqualogy is to hold two information days during the month of October, on the 17th, at 7 pm at the Agbar Tower in Barcelona, and on the 25th, at 7 pm in the Torre de Crystal in Madrid, on the Master’s Degree in Water Management and Technology, an academic programme designed to train professionals in this sector. The course objective is to train professionals in the water sector, placing particular emphasis on integrated management. In this sense, the course will offer specialized training with an international perspective and will include case studies, site visits and the preparation of a final dissertation.
Classes will be taught by a faculty of professionals working in academia and the water sector and will begin on 23 November in Madrid and on 30 November in Barcelona.
The duration of the course is 18 months and will combine classroom and online sessions. Specifically, the classes will be held once a month on Fridays from 9 am to 2 pm and from 3.30 pm to 8 pm, and on Saturdays from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm. The total price of the master’s degree programme will be €13,200 and the best students may even win the chance to join Agbar as employees.
The contents of the course are grouped into 14 areas: integrated management of water resources, urban drainage, purification, production, distribution, customer management, ecological and social value of water, strategic planning, marketing and business management, economic and financial business management, innovation, leadership skills, water solutions and technologies, and project management. During the degree course, students must prepare a final dissertation.
The Master’s Degree in Technology and Water Management is a programme developed by Aqualogy, in conjunction with Agbar, the UPC-Barcelona Tech and the UPM-Madrid Tech.
