YOUNG GRADUATE RECEIVES GRANT TO DEVELOP INNOVATION PROJECTS AT AQUALOGY

Carlos Alberto Reyes, a young graduate with a double degree (Telecommunications Engineering and Master of Science in Telecommunications) has won the award Connecta't a l'Enginyeria sponsored by the Catalan Youth Agency and Carnet Jove, in which Aqualogy Development Network also participates. His project, which won the ideas contest, is an ‘application of ultra-wideband technology to improve current remote meter reading systems.’
For one year, Carlos Alberto Reyes will collaborate with the company Aqualogy Development Network in the field of innovation, particularly in smart cities, participating on technical projects to create ideas for new innovative projects.
In addition to being attended by the winner, the grant award ceremony held yesterday at the Agbar Tower was attended by Jordi Boixadera, Chairman of the Catalan Youth Agency; Anna Puig, head of the Connecta't programme; Domènec Ballester, Area Director of Carnet Jove; Francesc Mayné, Director of General Services of Aigües de Barcelona and Director of Organisation in Catalonia, representing Agbar; Maria Salamero, Director of Development and Knowledge Management at ADN, representing Aqualogy; Jordi Zubelzu, grant tutor and Smart Cities product manager; and Julia Cuevas, Product Manager for recruitment and development at Aqualogy.
