Aqualogy installs the first thermal drying equipment in the United Kingdom, for the company Yorkshire Water
08 July 2013
Aqualogy goes one step further in the United Kingdom with the installation of the first thermal sludge drying equipment in this country. In particular, it will carry out the design, supply and assembly of one of these units for the wastewater treatment plant of Bradford (United Kingdom), managed by the company Yorkshire Water.
The solution is based on low temperature thermal drying using the STC system, Aqualogy’s own technology, for the treatment of one tonne an hour of treatment plant sludge. It will use a container-size monoblock unit for this, which will allow it to simplify the assembly and commissioning processes, in addition to responding to short delivery deadlines.
Yorkshire Water is one of the main operators in the water and wastewater sector of the United Kingdom, and serves almost 5 million inhabitants equivalent.
