AQUALOGY MANAGES THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS OF CODELCO (CHILE)

Aqualogy will carry out the operation and maintenance services of the wastewater treatment plants of the Ministro Hales Division of the company Codelco, in the second region of Antofagasta (Chile).
In particular, Aqualogy will carry out — over 36 months — the services involving operation and preventive maintenance, repair, control of the processes, and cleaning and verification of the water influent and effluent quality.
Codelco (National Copper Corporation of Chile) is the world’s biggest copper producer and the company which contributes the most to this country’s economy. Its annual production is equivalent to 11% of worldwide copper mining production and 34% of that produced in Chile.
The Ministro Hales Division was created by Codelco in September 2010 and the deposit is located 5 kilometres north of the city of Calama, in Antofagasta (north of Chile), representing the biggest investment in this company’s history.
