Many of those of us who live in the city sense the positive effects that contact with nature has on our health. For example, we sense how walking in the park helps us to recharge our batteries and relax. These effects are increasingly shown by scientific studies. Prolonged exposure to green spaces increases longevity, above all in relation to cardiovascular problems, improves the perceived general state of health (that which is measured on the basis of the patient’s own perception), contributes to mental health, increases the ability to confront problems, reduces stress and it has also been proven that it improves the ability of children to concentrate.
