15 April 2014 Aqualogy’s ice pigging technology is proving effective in U.S. wastewater applications

Utility Service Group (USG) is demonstrating that Aqualogy’s ice pigging technology is more effective than traditional methods of pigging sewer lines.  The most attractive benefit to wastewater operators is the extremely low probability of the ice slurry getting stuck.  Traditional pigging techniques pose a huge risk of clogging lines.  Two recent projects show that U.S. operators are becoming very comfortable using the technology in critical mains:

3 April 2014 Innovation Initiative Launched in US Water & Wastewater Industry

At the American Water Works (AWWA) Annual (ACE13) Conference in Denver, the AWWA Manufacturers & Associations Committee (MAC) developed a technical session on “Overcoming Challenges to Innovation in the Water Industry”.   Utility Service Group led the session.  There has been a long standing discussion in the US water and waste water industries about the difficulty gaining acceptance and adoption of innovation and new technology.  A new industry-wide “Innovation Initiative” was launched to take concrete steps to improve the acceptance and rate of adoption of new technologies and innovation in the US.  This initiative will directly benefit USG and Aqualogy as the leading innovator in the served US market.
