We repeatedly hear about the need to take action to strengthen the competitiveness of the economic and social fabrics, and that this requires adequate organizational structures, a skilled workforce, a commitment by public bodies and the involvement of companies.

Along these lines, in the business sphere, the concept of the Corporate University was already created back in the 50s in the United States, and it has spread around the world. It is a way of working which some companies use for knowledge management directly aligned with the organization’s objectives and strategies. In short, it is a form of optimizing resources, investing them in learning with the aim of impacting the results of the organization’s activity, theoretically increasing competitiveness.

For those of you fortunate enough to already be on holiday, there is nothing better than a good alphabet soup to lazily enjoy a well-deserved break. I don’t, of course, want to contribute to the terminological debate which accompanied corporate social responsibility when the term first arose and which has undoubtedly hampered its path to stardom.
